Flying Star Cafe

Fun, Funky, and Friendly describes my favorite place to hang out. Flying Star Café in Albuquerque is a great place to have a meal and chat with friends. Or just grab one of their delicious cookies and enjoy their magazine bar. They have tons of great magazines to read at your leisure. Want to surf the web? They have free wi-fi and a computer bar where you can plug in if you need juice for your laptop. With a great menu selection and great service, you are sure to find something you like. I personally like the fish and chips–just make sure to save room for one of their great desserts.

Fying Star Cafe insideThe first location opened in 1987 in Historic Nob Hill and has grown to six locations with a new one scheduled to open later this year. Flying Star Café is a great supporter of the community. One of their recent endeavors was raising money for The Storehouse, which provides food and clothing to individuals in poverty.
