The inconspicuous bronze people and animals lurking around various parts of Albuquerque…
As you know, I love the bronze statues in our city. I have been tracking them down and snapping photos to share with everyone. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to take one of Kimo the Cat. Kimo was stolen in late December 2007. Kimo, a 500 lb statue, and a 120 lb bronze book, were stolen from Cutler Park. Crimestoppers is offering a reward for information about this theft.
Please help return Kimo to his home in Cutler Park!
Come back next week to see where the next one is spotted! If you have seen any of these people or animals in Albuquerque, leave me a comment to let me know where. I will go grab a photo for a future post.

My daughters and I saw these statues outside the Albuquerque Museum. My youngest daughter said this one reminded her of Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus. So, in the Christmas spirit, enjoy this week’s bronze statue photo!

Imagine my delight to see these statues outside the Albuquerque Museum. If you have been there, you know what I am talking about. There are at least twenty bronze statues around the grounds. This one is a grandfather enjoying a beautiful Albuquerque afternoon with his dog.

I drive by this one almost daily. I never noticed the butterfly until I got out to take a photo. She is outside the Jewish Community Center on Wyoming, just north of Spain. I have always thought of her as a ballerina.
