Glenwood Hills - Breathtaking Living

Nestled in the foothills of Albuquerque with spectacular views of the city lights by night, the Glenwood Hills Community offers a diverse mix of housing, including single family homes, townhouses and condos.

This area is comprised of many small businesses and shopping opportunities, including Smith’s Food and Drug, McDonald’s, Subway, High Pointe Fitness, and McGinnis School of Driving. The City’s Park and Ride serves the neighborhood with a location at Montgomery and Tramway.

For the outdoor enthusiast, recreational opportunities abound. The Piedra Lisa Canyon, part of the Sandia Foothills Open Space, offers hiking, mountain biking, and equestrian trails. The canyon provides access to trail #365 and Foothills Trail. Dogs are allowed on leash and on-site parking is available. Glenwood Hills benefits from easy access to Tramway’s bike and walking trail.

Enjoy the many parks that Glenwood Hills has to offer; one of them is Sunset Canyon Park, situated on two acres with a playground, basketball court, two picnic tables, and onsite parking. You will also find a walking path with fitness stations. As you walk along the path, look out for the many rabbits dashing through the brush! This park lives up to its name with breathtaking sunsets on the vista.
